Lénaïc Barbier, alias Hixus
Designing business applications, from the architecture to running them. Nantes, France.
Backend developer at OpenSafe, in Nantes. Most of the work is PHP (CakePHP, Laravel), Angular and PostgreSQL on a business application used daily by companies.
The rest of the time goes into a personal server that runs about thirty projects behind a reverse proxy and an SSO, with the monitoring, backups and continuous integration that come with it. Most of what follows still runs there.
The thread through these projects does not change : take a concrete problem, ship something that actually runs, and keep control from design to production, including the parts nobody enjoys.

A piece of work
Custom development, deployment and infrastructure, security audit, technical SEO. Small scopes are welcome, and so is picking up a project someone left half-finished.

Right now
Deep work on tenant isolation in a multi-client application: who sees what, and how you prove it. Alongside it, a six person team project on an energy optimisation platform, where my role covers the cloud side and the delivery chain.
